Application & Care Instructions

All Yours Truly decals are permanent, outdoor adhesive vinyl and should last up to 5 years with proper application and care.

Application Instructions for Permanent Decals

1.   Decals can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface such as plastic, metal, glass, etc.  

2.   Clean and dry the application surface with rubbing alcohol.

3.   Mark the desired decal position.

4.   Keeping fingers away from the adhesive, peel backing paper approximately 1" from the top of the decal. Fold down and crease the backing paper.

5.   Align and apply the decal starting at the top. Remove the backing paper a little bit at a time, and smooth as you go. Use firm, overlapping strokes with a credit card or clean cloth to remove any wrinkles.

6.   Remove clear adhesive sheet used for application VERY SLOWLY. Additional rubbing with a credit card may be needed to release vinyl from the clear adhesive backing.

7.   If air bubbles occur, puncture with a pin or needle and smooth down with a credit card or smooth cloth. 

Tips for centering your decal:

1.   Line a straight edge ruler up with the center of your surface (cup, water bottle, car window, etc.).

2.   Draw a straight line using a dry erase or washable marker.

3.   Erase the center of the line where the decal will be positioned. 

4.   Remove the decal from the backing and line up the center line of the decal with the center line on your application surface. 

Care instructions for permanent vinyl decals applied to drinkware:

1.   If applying to drinkware, HAND WASH ONLY.

2.   Do not freeze or microwave. 

3.   Do not soak or scrub over design.
